Thread regarding Bank of America layoffs

Lots of resignations? Retirements?

Anyone else seeing an increase in resignations or retirements?

Wondering if people are fed up with no WFH / average pay / etc.

I think it’s both but mostly wfh. Most people have tolerated the low pay because they’re saving on gas and other associated cost driving to work daily if they can wfh but with the rising cost of living expenses and gas the push to go back five days is motivating people to leave. Saw on the news BOFA is predicting a recession, yet they have not raised see our pay and want everyone to spend the little they make to pay high gas prices to go back in because they think it’s better to work from the office. So the opinion of these elitist leaders with their big paychecks wants to make a decision that affects all of our lives in a negative way because they think it’s best. What’s worse is they pride themselves on being the best company to work for when that isn’t true. These elitist leaders are out of touch with the reality of most. BOFA should get an award for the most out of touch, insensitive and uncaring company to work for.

Yes it’s on the rise. I have personally seen a lot of people on my side leave for remote opportunities. They didn’t think twice, they just left for the better opportunity. I’ve especially seen a lot of women leave for the remote opportunities. Can’t say I blame them, working from home is so much better for parents trying to balance family and work.
