I just interviewed for a new role here in California and think I've landed the job!!! Looks like they will be doing a background check again. I already did one several years ago so this surprised me. Will it be criminal check only or do I need to do criminal, credit, dr-g test, etc.

How many months the internal hiring process take?
You are subject to a random background check at any time. Doesn't matter if you move positions or not.
Internals moves? Just make sure no mu---r on your rap sheet, and oh yeah. Don't call me, Shirley!

Credit and background check. No dr-g test.
Depends on your role. 1. Congrats. 2. Don't do illegal sh!t, keep your credit good, you will have less worries in life :)
