A buddy is trying to get me to join, what is the (current) salary range for b4 roles? Curious if they've adjusted them at all

NY Front Office Tech numbers in case useful:
B5 - 130-180k Base, 0-35k discretionary
B4 - 175-250K Base, 20-80k discretionary
There will be outliers for sure. If business aligned tech (e.g Strats) then you can probably bump all of those numbers by 20% at least.
Really depends on the role and org. See if your position has an opening in Denver on the banks career site. They are legally obligated to post the salary range for positions in Colorado and on the right side it should say something like "Colorado job seekers" and when you click it a salary range will appear. With that said, generally, B4 in tech is between 100k and 200k based on the role and years of experience with most averaging around 150k, 4 weeks vacation, and 2k to 20k in bonus depending on the org and how well we've done/how well your manager likes you. Glassdoor can be helpful but it usually won't show band so it could be a bit off.
I suggest you ask high and negotiate down.
