Management encourages bad behavior

I've noticed this happening and it's hard to understand why it's happening. As an employee who loves his job and cares about doing it as best as he can, it demoralizes me a lot.
Encouraging bad behavior is a way for managers to punish good employees. I wonder if they do it intentionally or unintentionally?

They are panicking and just hiring to put buts in seats. If you are a great talker, you are in. You don’t have to know squat about the position you are being hired for. Experience is leaving or if staying just counting down until layoff or retirement.
Good luck

Intentional. Managers with ambition want to impress the top brass. Even if that means cutting corners or fudging numbers. The problem is rather deep-seated and inbred in the competitive sales culture of the company. The hucksters, showboats, grifters, carnival barkers, and used car salesmen are all at home here. They lie, cheat, and steal to get ahead. Certainly not everyone, but there is still a strong element. Just take a deep dive into all the lawsuits this past decade to get a sense of what kind of really bad actors worked here and the havoc they've wrecked on the bank.

The management style at this company is abnormal and asinine. I have never worked at a company like here at BOA. This company rewards the losers and demote the hardworking and efficient workers. Like I said before this company is azz backwards. This starts from the CEO BM who continues to promote his bulshlit on TV. He is a phony and doesn't give a damn about the employees . The shlitty 3-7 percent raise was an insult when you consider the inflation that is hitting us. He needs to step the he-l down.
