Thread regarding Bank of America layoffs

The falling apart has begun!

Managers going up the vertical ladder are starting to complain and gripe about productivity dropping and errors increasing. They are all raising a fuss when I am laughing and showing them a mirror. A big delicious fat mirror all shiny and glowing and sparkling. You let all of your experienced workers leave without trying to retain them or never addressed their concerns. Then you brought everyone back to the office in some blanket sweep of everyone without considering the higher production numbers of some departments WFH which dropped productivity and morale to the cellar. And now you are running around like Daffy Duck going "I don't understand it! How can these errors be happening and production be dropping?" You lost your staff. Most of them don't even care anymore if you lay them off. They are just doing their job and going home. The few SME or experienced workers left are looking to leave following the ones who left before out the open gate. Man, for those managers honestly asking that question proves they shouldn't even be in that position to ask that question. Are they that ignorant and out of touch? Look in that shiny mirror please. It's self-explanatory.

It is incredible how leadership could be so clueless about it. You loose all your best people and replace them with someone who simply cannot do the work or takes 10 times longer to do it and often do it wrong or not as well.

Many talented employees flew out the door to better jobs. I noticed several executive positions weren’t replaced instead their role was absorbed by another Exec who had a full plate. This is not a sustainable strategy.

Oooooh you so cleeeeeever @zwg+1h8ytkZM. Let me applaud you because you failed reading literacy in school. And I guess you are sitting beside me as the worst of the worst too. Only thing is, I have only been there less than a year. See, I said EXPERIENCED workers who are knowledgeable in their jobs. But now you expect newbies to train newbies and guess where that is leading? Mistakes and lower productivity. But evidently you are sitting alongside me, so why don't you give me some of your free cupcakes and chocolates since that is all you need as an experienced awesome worker to stay?

Good because it’s an absolute nightmare working in the conditions they are harboring. I am one of the many praying that they will just lay me off because I wake up every day dreading going into work. It’s been like this for 2 years straight.

So you are saying only the worst performing and least knowledgeable staff remain. In otherwise the worst of the bunch? Got it. Umm you decided to remain yes? Lol
