So our site is having a site wide recognition celebration today. It was suppose to be outside but since it’s raining they just ask EVERYONE come to the cafeteria instead and hoot and holler and eat around each other. The absolute stupidity is mind numbing.

Super stupid! Give it a rest with the employee engagement! Maybe send us all a nice treat that we can enjoy on our personal time twice a year or cash gifts/gift cards and call it a day!
Too much wasted time goes into planning the high school events and activities that nobody honestly finds valuable. We have enough to do- stop with the 18 reminder events for engagement perks (awards, etc for participation) that the same people somehow always get.
Well monkey pox was declared a pandemic by the world health network, and the WHO might say something soon as well. Leave it to BofA to not take heed. Terrible place to work.
Let’s RTO during the worst inflationary period in decades, and during a pandemic, and maybe during another pandemic. All for what exactly?
Pizza and cupcakes don’t work for me. I’m not 5. I want cold hard cash.
The pandemic changed things. Whether vaxxed or not. The bank needs to change with the events. It’s ok to not have recognition events with pizza and cupcakes. It’s ok not to have quarterly appreciation events associates want monetary compensation, not a slice of pizza. They want to be heard and real action taken.
The celebration before the layoffs. They did that at Chase before the massive layoffs.
Why is it stupid? I mean, yes it is waste of time. But...if you are referring to a continued and irrational fear of COVID, still, even though you are tripleboosted, gigavaxxed with at least two different vaccines... then lol, best look in the mirror.
