Few employees are “value creators”. The vast majority of employees are in Operations and they are task oriented. Product owners, outward facing sales &Marketing people and even application software engineers are value creators. I’d like to say that Senior leaders are value creators but the only CEO who ever created value was Frank Cahouet. We have never even had a real Chief Finance Officer an actual Economist. Thankfully Charlie took the last fake CFO with him when he left.

The new higher priced employees, the ones that will be gone in 18 to 24 months….they seem to get the respect and other things we want.
