My TL told me I am the point person for tech support now at my store? We haven't even had our monthly call because it keeps getting postponed.

I'm unboxing computers and plugging in cables to test printers now. I am doing exactly what thr STSS did when they would visit. Ive had to reset AP's the STSS has already been here this month and he lives Two hours away.. how is that not basic IT?
If you look at SSS job postings as well as the recent SSS SOP it says in plain text that you are not the tech point person for the store.
WF has always done stuff like this team combinations role changes and cutting hours. Combined teams eliminated multiple high paid TLs who either stepped down to ATL with a pay cut or left the company. Then they uncombined and higher on TLs making significantly less money.SSI was cut and made into PT SSS eliminating more long time people. Then years go by and they make it FT again. Typical WF BS go in do the bare minimum and try to find another job. Don't invest your time here unless you want to brown nose your leadership and coordinator group.

This will help facilitate the laying off of the STSS team, who will be replaced by the GHD. SSSes aren't just going to be the point person, they will do all the in-store troubleshooting for the remote support teams.
