Hani Kablawi reiterating the minimum 2-3 days in office really means 3 days minimum on the EMEA town hall this morning

That would be nice but the Bank has the power. Run of the mill employees who aren’t connected, well regarded, related or friends with powerful people will be displaced with cause and NO package. No package as we can’t afford it with mass layoffs. Particularly as we will need to pay more to get replacement.
Desirable heavy hitters whom we hired WILL be working from home. Expect a divisive culture between the haves and the have nots. The Bank has always taken care of their connected pets but you haven’t seen nothing yet.
Why are our leaders so spineless and timid regarding their minimum 3 days decision. When was the last CEO with the stones to make a decision…? Probably Charlie.
I agree, but it’s not my problem anymore. Found a new company that is making us come in 3 days, but I’ll be paid a lot more. BNYM is making everyone do the same but taking more benefits away. I can deal with being underpaid if I go in once a week, but you try to make me go in more and take stuff away, see ya!
I’m going to refuse the tracking device implants but I will show up. I’ll let the courts take care of it.
No they won’t !!!!
No employer in their right mind would “pay” a premium to get staff back into the office 3 days a week or more. Understand that coming in to work at your job is what you signed up for and what you’re paid to do.
Let me run this by you… not coming into work will earn you termination with cause. That means no severance or Supplemental unemployment plan. It also means that it is preferable to the bank to displace you for cause. Todd was really good about giving non performers SUB.
That era is over… go to work and look for another job that allows you to WFH.
Going back full time crammed like sardines in a harsh building and Hoteling to boot.
Hello next Flu/COVID/virus season.
Suppose it was always going to happen seeing as the boss is from GS and they are back full time. The email about in office attendance being linked to performance bonus was a joke. Time to look elsewhere
Who the heck downvoted me. If your current employer is making you go back 3x a week but you’re not getting a pay bump (why would they?), you’re better off going somewhere else. Chances are even if you must commute at new gig, the pay bump will greatly offset what you’d pay for transit and gas. Chances are if you work at BNY, you’re underpaid. Simple as, homies
Gonna cram us into the Client Service Center like sardines.
Pittsburgh is leaving 1 Mellon by 2028. They don't have enough space and it's getting less. idk that we will ever see 5 days in the burgh. just hotel desking in a ghost town
WM was told 2 = 3 back in the summer. CK decided she could demand we all do 3 minimum as our standard. Joke’s on her, most of the office doesn’t crack 2 days a week on a good week. Now I’m sure she will be checking our new tracking system to ensure we swipe — make sure you’re in the ‘mint’!
Employers will need to start paying a premium on staff who must be in the office 3 days a week or more.
The hints have been there all along.
Many companies are going back full time, 5 days a week.
Ya. I am hearing rumblings of other areas moving to three days.
