Above Model?

My management chain are now communicating that employees are expected to be ‘above’ model. This came via email and also mentioned on a call. When questioned we were told this is a firm-wide push.

Anyone else hearing this?

I’m confused. Suddenly they’re not ranking partial/below? If everyone is above model then who will they fire with no severance?

Want to pay you as a below model but perform above model.

Any grad that gets an offer, RUN the other way. A toxic environment.

We’ve been told to be eligible for promotion you have to be above mode.

Of course, our group hasn’t gotten a promotion outside of India in a long time.

Probably wouldn't be a thing if so many didn't take the p*ss with refusing to RTO or being a coffee badger.
These while in the minority are the main reason we will all be 4 days a week in office soon

Above model?….. ( long fa-rt noise)
My merit increase is barely above the cost of a Chocolate ‘yodel’ snack…. So I’m not going above anything more than that. Bunch of mind per-verts dreaming up this rubbish!

Doing your job is no longer enough to even meet expectations. Craziness

Above model is "highly encouraged"

Great, yet another undocumented “expectation” forced upon the folks that are already compliant.

All depends on manager right. They can't force you to be above, but in the long run, your Mgr is looking at it.

So can't say you're not meeting RTO but will surely be held against you when ranking.
