This was me too: No merit. Very very small bonus. I partially met.
I feel this is a push to the chopping block, after a long career. I feel very disrespected here, and would welcome a layoff. The stress and workload is becoming unmanageable, while the corporation racks up record profits.
If you're young, use this place as a resume builder and get out as soon as you can.

@nv - I would’ve preferred that over my ‘met’ and no increase. This place is a fu(&ing joke.

I got a membership to the Jelly of the Month Club.
It’s the gift that keeps on giving the whole year.

You obviously cannot read and comprehend very well. The post said ‘its not pound for pound’ but the point is, the person and most of us are NOT keeping up with the cost of living. If you get a 2% increase, chances are you are losing with all the other cost of increases. All this despite major profits. Do you understand finally? Or does this concept have to be dum-bed down further?

So are you expecting BNY to give you a 51% merit increase / incentive?

Zero merit and had meets exp. First time in my career I haven't received a merit increase. Bonus down 10% from last year. Obviously they are trying to push people out and I can guarantee there is age discrimination in play here. I would bet most with zero merit and meets exp are over a certain age.

1 . 7 % increase. And I got other increases too!!
Health insurance at BNY up 4. 1% (wheeee!)
Car insurance up 3. 9%
Food bills up 7. 67%
Oil bills up 12% from last year
Electricity up 9% from last year
Cable up 4. 4%from last year
School tax up 2. 2%from last year
Property tax will go down -2. 7% this year but I am sure I will get tickets or some fees to offset
Water bills up 1. 7% from last year
Commuting costs up 11%
So you see? I have merited 51% total on the wrong side. Yes its not pound for pound but I think it’s easy to see the freefall . My sore behind and fragile mind thank you BNY!

Curious what line of business you are in? Wondering if it’s Treasury Services getting shafted by their senior managers with all the money going to certain teams.

Asset Servicing seems to distribute in a fairer manner.

Exceeds Expectations- 0% Merit and 11 % bonus.
Pretty p*ssed off! Salary band = G.

I've worked my tail off for the last two years and had really hoped to be promoted. I now realise this will never happen.

Met/Met. 0% raise (I am outwith my band for my grade and the next one up) for the first time in my 10 years here and the lowest bonus ever 10%.

Met expectations- 0% Merit and -6% bonus YOY. Negotiated high comp and now being punished because others didn’t IMO

The bands increased a small amount this year so while you may have been at the top, you should have gotten something with meets.

Ironically I got an exceeds and only got 2%… so lower than inflation. What a time to be a BNY employee!

I got nuthin'. Met expectations and above mid salary grade but not at the top.
Retirement eligible and I guess they're trying to tick me off enough to leave without hanging around hoping for severance. They may have finally succeeded.
