@jq+1jjffa83n - it is nauseating.

I guess they'll save plenty on "expenses" when there are none of us left.

This was the WORST merit increase I have ever received. I am not bonus eligible and my merit increase was a lousy 1%. I’m now facing severe financial hardship.

No base salary raise for first time. Bonus down 15% from last year.

The worst and most insulting part of this is when your manager tries to put a positive spin on it and try to convince you how good it is.

I got a 1% raise. Never have I ever see. This at this company. Been here a decade. I feel slapped in the face! I asked my manager to advocate for me and got a solid no,

@jh+1jjffa83n I think the bank isn't doing as well as the senior leadership claim. They are still implementing furlough for contractors and the compensation conversations match up with what you are saying consistently. This bank is not doing well at all.

I am shocked how little compensation I got this year. Based on the performance of the bank, and my personal performance, I was expecting something better than last year. I got a big slap on my face instead.

Anyone getting more than last year?

Just got to watch my manager squirm trying to tell me how 1% was a good thing...

No. Being poorer this year while you expect twice the work is not good. This one was the last straw. BofA is pulling a Circuit City and letting the talent bleed off. The only ones that will be left are the ones so useless they don't have a choice (or those few who are still full time wfh and can have two jobs at once). Good luck!

we got emails last week about changing our 401k contributions if we wanted too and needs to be done by 2/5 by 4pm. so I'd like to assume we'd hear from managers sometime this week

I believe 401k contribution changes need to be locked in by 2/4 to go into effect in time for the bonus payout, so managers will need to communicate early next week to give employees time to make an informed decision.
