Thread regarding Bank of America layoffs

Zero hike and zero bonus

Comment if you got both hike and bonus as 0. My manager says many folks got them so me getting it is no surprise

B5 GT Architect. Worked in excess of 80 hours each week to complete real concrete deliverables that better my team for past 3 years. I received E/E with 2% raise, same as the other years, and watched them promote another person twice on my team that rarely speaks. Great job BofA! Will be working on generating money from a side hustle after I work my 40 at the bank because of increased insurance costs, food, and taxes. No need to excel here when they don’t appreciate or reward you for it.

B4 E/M -- 1% merit, bonus reduced $2K - total comp actually was lower. Complete joke of a company. It's time to destroy those surveys!

@1b8+1jjpmh973 - get out now. Take the sabbatical and LEAVE.

Your bonus will never be Restored.

Happened to me. Will happen to you.

They are only interested in payin themselves. Your hard-earned money went right into BTM and Boston Mafia's pocket. They are sick, gross fakers.

I used to get a few percent, 2 or 3 maybe, effectively COLA, and they would call it a raise.

I hope that you consider how your attitude likely reflects upon your compensation. Really not sure what else to tell you.

@w4+1jjpmh973 "Try harder and you will be rewarded, DUH."

As a B6 with 20+ years at BOA and over 60, I do not think so. My years of experience and my lack of pay to show for it does not have the momentum to compete with new hires with no experience. Not bragging about my experience or complaining, just concerns smacking me in the face. If it wasn't for the BOA minimal wage significantly increased to $20 and incrementing one dollar each year afterwards until 2025, I was content with my pay considering what I was doing. Now, it is completely different as if I am being forced out the door to bring in younger employees. Some would say that this is AGE DISCRIMINATION.

Instead of working harder, I will have to work less and let management know that they got what they paid for in comparison to a new hire.

I got an 8% Raise and $7K bonus. You people complaining about low pay and bonuses are the company boat anchors.

Try harder and you will be rewarded, DUH. It really is that simple!

Responsible growth at it'sbest. This is exactly what BOA wants. They want you to get upset and leave on your own. No severance, no unemployment. They can either consolidate your role, hire some kid out of college at half price or lastly ship the work to India if you are not client facing.

Every other place I worked had automatic COLA, and a raise would be on top of that. That was in education and aerospace industries.

So you’re telling me, that someone on social security can get a 2.5% COLA, but a working person deserves 0? No wonder everyone is quiet quitting.

@kc+1jjpmh973 - they don't want you to look for another job. They just know your're Loyal and Dedicated.

I bet if you got another offer and resigned tomorrow, they'd say they are "shocked!"

Unfortunately they take us for granted.

Meanwhile, they keep stuffing their pockets! It's Gross.
