15 years of sacrifice and dedication, going above n beyond, building relationships and trust with colleagues and clients. BNY is showing they are not a company that cares about the Client and the service they deserve. They are getting rid of the best. The employees like me that care and truly put the client first. The week I got laid off, my team got a message confirming they would start a relationship with BNY citing specifically my contribution. That hurt.
Sending good thoughts to everybody affected, nobody deserves to be treated like they are disposable.
Hope you all find better companies than the cesspool BNY is.
And we are all now the guinea pigs for this new severance plan. Can’t wait for the email tomorrow with the details on how sc--w&ed I am with medical coverage stopping 3/31. Years and years of service for this. FU BNY!!

To everyone impacted today, my heart goes out to you. I know you the amount of time, effort and sacrifice you have to this place only to be unceremoniously laid off. I wish you all the best in your search. There are better companies out there.
Sad. Just a sad ugly tragic place this has become. People that care and give it all they have. Days, nights, weekends, holidays… always thinking about the job and how to make a great difference. Just a waste. This place has reduced every employee in the US and UK to merely the next potential layoff to be done. Great leadership Robin. Hope karma comes for you.

Yep. 14 years here and got laid off today. Received exceeded expectation for most of my career. They offshored most of our tasks and dealt with most of their work because that’s what we do right? Door closes to a better opportunity for sure. This is a good lesson to never settle for less and reach for more for sure… good luck with everything!
