Thread regarding Bank of New York Mellon Corp. layoffs

Bummy looking leader

How are we supposed to even seriously have any pride in this place when the leader looks like he’s been sleeping outdoors on a park bench all night? Rumpled, unshaven, poorly dressed, bad hair. He looks like he should be on a corner with a spare change cup and cardboard sign

All productive workers love forced rankings… no exception.

Only slackers hate it as they get weeded ouT

wrong again 42…43…. Very average past bnym employee that no longer works here.
Shouldn’t you be busy working instead of trolling a site for a company you no longer work for

Personally, when he first came on I thought he looked sickly. I fully expected him to say he was leaving due to health issues. Guess it's just the farm life or something.

Yep. Sure. You are probably from the same camp where Joe Biden is still sharp as a tack with energy and stamina. People who are leaders should inspire confidence. And RV looks harmful and is. That’s what is going on in said titled thread.

Outside of corporate, some of the most bummy looking people I've ever worked with have been the most inspiration bosses while other clean cut ones have been sleazebags (and vice versa). I just on the content of one's character. If you need to be inspired by someone's looks, that sounds like a you problem being shallow...
Again, don't even know who you are talking about, it's just the principle of things

He is the face of the company. No one says he must wear a suit and tie, but look clean and professional. I don't get it.

do we really need to go back to wearing a suit and tie in the office?

Next we'll be requiring the ladies to wear a dress and heals.

I don't like the guy, but he was fine.. focus on real issues..

Unjust forced negative performance ratings to balance a skewed bell curve and bogus personnel actions or using those fake ratings to bypass paying severance (or SUB earlier) come to mind.

Because. If, you cant take pride in your appearance, how can anyone take you seriously? Or look up to you? He looks like someone to be avoided not followed.

Why do you care so much about someone's appearance and not how good or bad they are at their job?
