Office closing 30th november individual consultations start from monday
I heard from relative working there than November 25 is the expected date for closure
Did they ever provide a date for the closure?
Apparently staff are been treated badly. No one to one meetings yet. Employee representatives have been getting vauge responses to their questions and staff have not been offered transfers to dublin yet if available. I feel very sorry for the employees.
Did many people get an opportunity to transfer to dublin or get a WFH contract?

Do they only count full years for redundancy or is it pro-rata?
I understand that the minutes from the meeting didn’t exactly reflect the words spoken by the HR rep. Clearly referred to as a threat on the 4 weeks extra payment.
Seems a free for all on base at home contracts for some business lines over others.
Some proper legal guidance on all of this would show up BNY significantly inaccurate bad light.
4 weeks in Ireland ex-gratia compared to other locations…… that’s discrimination
The ex-gratia (the 4 weeks per year additional to the 2 weeks statutory) redundancy payment is being used to ensure people will stay to their planned exit date.
