What do J levels make in Lake Mary?

Hello, recent MBA grad here. I interviewed for a Lake Mary role, I’ll be moving to Florida if the offer is good. This is for a VP operations role and they said it’s level J so what should I expect? The range online is so hard to decipher 66k to 166k.

Any help ?

  1. You weren’t an impact employee. You told us two weeks ago you maxed out at a level K… & an under paid one at that! You were nothing spectacular.

For most people, a K is fine but the way you talk on here you would’ve thought you were reporting directly to the CEO you fraud

BNYM certainly cared a great deal for hiring me and my MBA. But I was an impact hire from a great competitive university.

Not the University of Phoenix tools we see here.

Original poster,
Suppose HR was skimming this site? You have already disclosed a lot about yourself if you are indeed an applicant. And now, here you are on a public website phishing and bad mouthing the company and it’s people. It shows you are untrustworthy even if you are legit which is extremely doubtful. What does this say about you and your ability?

The band is pretty wide. They will go as low as 70, and as high as 120 (in theory) as the VP band in NYC tops at ~140. Your actual offer will depend on role/experience/team/your negotiation skills.

Another fabulous response that can't follow the question being asked.

OP
Doubt seriously that you are real. You come on a layoff site looking for employment reassurance and salary information? If you were real, you would be asking these questions in the interview and they would tell you. You are just a lying phony.

OP here - Looks like I received 2-3 real responses ranging from 68k to 96k. I doubt the 68k one was real as well.

You guys wonder why the company is at the state it's in, look further into these replies on this site. 80% of you can't even respond to a real honest question on here.

I will look out for 90+, thanks!

Awww phooey, it’s what level J’s in Pune get that matters. And that is 1/12 of what Lake Mary is along with a bowl of curried vindaloo fish chili.

Don’t move your life for this place. BNY really doesn’t care if you have your MBA. They just want cheap. And you’ll really only be temporary especially in operations until they move your role offshore or actually figure out this AI nonsense, which I doubt. Nothing ever works right at BNY! I’m an I and make $85k. I’ve been here a really long time too wasting away. I don’t recommend. It’s bad for your mental health (because of all the layoffs, offshoring, and now AI). It’s prob why they keep talking about how they added mental health benefits.

Hope you plan on renting. Homes remain too expensive to buy. From Apopka to Altamonte to Sanford. And learn to speak Spanish. And too much traffic. Stay in Peoria!

I'd use your MBA to get a job in plumbing or electrical work. Banking is too volatile with no end in sight. I would have gotten a master's in Hindu or Pakistani

Bank teller jobs are on the decline. Used to have a dozen gals and guys now just a fancy copy machine and 2 people. Never a line anymore but I seldom need to walk in. McDonald's has same thing. Used to be a crew now a duo is all they need with the kiosk accepting orders and taking money. When you walk to the counter they point you back to the kiosk. Weird world.

If you have an MBA don’t accept a J level position.
