Thread regarding Mutual of America Life layoffs

Client Relationship Managers Are Not Respected

The Field Executives and Senior Management don't truly value the yeoman's and back breaking work talented Client Relationship Managers do and how much REVENUE they generate for the company and how much REVENUE they save the company. The workloads. Long hours. HR took away their the Relationship Manager titles. Many lost their VP titles. Most top CRMs at other firms are Vice Presidents and make upwards of $200,000 per year. Not at Mutual of America. There are few monetary incentives and the title, workload, and compensation structure is all wrong. The Executive Field Vice Presidents lack empathy and don't treat their top people and front line people with respect. We do all the work and make 1/3 of what an Executive VP makes. We make them look good. Something has got to change. If the Board of Directors and HR is reading this, fire the Executive Field VPs. They do no work. Add little value and don't value us as employees. More people are going to leave if things don't change. Junior people are promoted because of favortism and hard working employees who have been here for nearly 20 years are not respected.

It's interesting. Many women were demoted in the restructuring. Now the field is run entirely by all white men ! No women. What happened to DEI. Many women are rip schit pi---d at Johnson, Conway, Gregory and Bailey.

Some big resignations recently. It's clear the CRMs are pi---d as many were effectively demoted and their VP titles taken away. Now, they are all working under white men who are getting paid nearly 3X what they make and these white boys dont do a single damn thing. Laszy f-uCA-kas

"More people are going to leave if things don't change"
What have you seen changing for the better? if you have nearly 20 years on the job and feel you are still disrespected and paid a third (and that is not far off) what your job does elsewhere....why.are.you.still.there?
Your loyalty is admirable, but no one is listening. Save your own career. Please.

You must have missed the internal memo circulated recent on a company website about Mutual of Omaha's Wild Kingdom. Do you know the one that I'm talking about. Copy ?

I miss Mutual's Wild Kingdom with Marlin Perkins. Are they bringing him back? I loved that show growing up!
