I know bonuses are discretionary but does anyone know the average base salary for a Private Banker in Wealth Management at BNY?
HR continues to state they got rid of salary ranges and the pay (base & bonus)is strictly up to your director/management.

This is either misinformation you received or you are just plain lying to create a mess here.
The grade levels, positions and location are all ranges and bands for salary. Bonus are up to your manager. And to your original question, it depends on where you are located. You obviously do not work here.
