Hiring in India is included in this “pause”. All hiring (add to staff, role migration and backfill) are impacted. Any exception needs to be approved by an EC member but the “Chief People Officer” has to individually approve each exception.

they always say hiring will stop until the head guy says he needs to hire a goldman MD in some random location like switzerland.. then its ok
They will keep hiring in Dumpster areas like Florida (India is sometimes better than Lake mary people) and Offshore.
Hiring will continue in India.
