It's called institutional knowledge. Some of those people with 40+ years know parts of the industry inside and out.

Because the last boomers with steel trap minds are laid off and and GenX on down can’t do a thing without twitching for their d-mb phones every 30 seconds. We boomers who created these addictive technologies enjoyed the challenge of creation but we don’t use them addictively. .
