you’re a clown. You talk about how well you were treated and how you succeeded & all these great things you accomplished, but you told us all at a level K at 120k.
I’m also. A K and I make more than that in PIttsburgh and I do as a little as possible at this point.
Your nothing special. Especially for all the bragging you do.

Why in the world would somebody who no longer works at this dump post nonsense repeatedly on every thread day after day… What a waste of an existence.

I’m sure he has no hobbies or friends based on how he acts here but good grief - find a purpose.

Children… WORK YOUR BUTT OFF, prove yourself and make a great impression, then the world is your oyster.

That’s how I did it.

GenX on down, right?

HR doesn’t answer those questions. They answer people who already work here.

Ami getting through to you Mr. Beale?

Hello OP,

Here is a real response:

An internal transfer to move up one letter grade is anywhere between 5%-15%.

A lateral move is 0%.

Most of the time no raise for moving one grade up

they tried to low ball me a few years ago. I eventually got 15% but pretty sure my bonus was less than it should have been becasue of it.... they bend you over one way or anyother

Promotions and internal transfers drop you in the low end of the bracket. It's worse now, since they pooled promotion money with merit increases.

It is actually worse for your career to get promoted than to leave for another identical position then return to BNY.

My experience is it’s the minimum amount for that grade level. A truly poor deal.

10% more pay for 30% more work, consider that math.

They will try to low ball you. All depends on the department and the grades themselves.
