Thread regarding Bank of New York Mellon Corp. layoffs

What a complete mess they have made of our great institution - DELETED

I wanted to send this story to someone and couldn't find this masterpiece. Did admins delete it? It was one of the best summaries of BNY for sure. Anyone saved a copy...?Wayback machine doesn't have it... Please dump to some shared drive.. I really want to have it..

When posting on whichever social, make sure your post doesn’t contain personal insults or other content that HR could report to the platform as a ToS violation (such as trade secrets or similar.) They don’t own these platforms, but they’ll use every loophole they can to try to shut down the chatter, so don’t give them that satisfaction.

BNY HR likely ordered it shut down. HR definitely is aware of this site. It probably learns more about the company and how to do its job here than it does at BNY. It is why anyone using a device connected or having permissions to BNY’s apps and using this site, is a de-ad duck

Agree it was a perfect and honest post. Seems BNY is trying their best to stop the bleed … Lots of people now aware - Dept of Labor, employment lawyers, EEOC and just by word of mouth. Once a great institution, now BEWARE.

Well, the downvoters here are probably the bandersnatches who reported it. That thread was perfect and told the truth and did not mention or disparage anyone. This one in 4 days RTO comes pretty close……

We may be awful at client service, technology, projects and employee engagement but we are #1 at delays, mental abuse and culture rot. The higher revelation of this thread really isn’t people guessing about what’s next or delays of the next round of layoffs and going into the office 4 days or more. It’s that management allows and encourages such a poisonous climate of ‘expecting the worst’. Worse, they know they are doing it on purpose. All in long drawn out slow drip mode for maximum effect. If you really had a hard on for 5 days in office, why even go 3 then 4 etc.? If you want to cut benefits why not do it all at once and be done with it? Because we have power sadists wanting you to leave with nothing and make it look like your fault. And they enjoy doing it too.
