The turnover there is high. I was there a year and a few months and they laid a bunch of us off. It's the norm there.

The pay is better. Many people I know have left BNY to join Wells. Not sure I would, since CS and his practices ruined BNY.
I looked into it to see if the grass was greener, and realized they don't have remote positions for my job role, so it's nothing special. I saw several big higher-ups leave BNY in 2024-2025 who then went to Wells Fargo, such as Bridget E, Tom S, and Pete V, so make of that what you will.
Judging by the posts on the WF layoff board, no.
Another bank as a Dream company? No.
But- it would be a quantum leap over this s..t house.
