Thread regarding Bank of New York Mellon Corp. layoffs

The culture there is abysmal. The different groups are running into each other in their lower environments. Each group pounds their chest with each release. Yet each release is a disaster. Eliza, wile internal only, is a joke compared to the more refined ChatGPT and even Copilot. Has some good qualities. Not enough to justify the expenditure. Getting cut yesterday was no surprise. In a positive way, kind of relieved. Cannot take to much from my tenure there that makes me feel positive at the overall experience. Was warned by many that this was a bad decision to go there. The miserable feeling set in a good week after starting.
