In recent years, this went from a good to an okay to a not so good to a truly horrible place to work in shockingly rapid fashion. I'm not sure what caused the change, but I don't like it one bit. I was once convinced I'd retire here someday, and now I'm absolutely certain I'll be gone long before then.

@OP It stopped being a decent place when it changed to LabCorp from Roche Biomedical Laboratories. Going from wholly owned subsidiary to a publicly traded company is when it all went down hill. For what it was it was decent. Bad pay, but great benefits. 20 years of service got you 8 weeks of vacation. Yearly steak dinners and Christmas parties. All that went out the door when we became LabCorp. It cut into PROFITS. Stayed there until I retired. Don't miss LabCorp at all. Just my co-workers.
