Spending time in downtown Pittsburgh is almost as depressing as being a BNY employee, almost.
@cg Anyone downvoting you is a contrarian who doesn't live in reality. Downtown Pittsburgh is almost third world tier. I had to visit the BNY Mellon Pittsburgh offices a few times last year for business trips, and I hated it each time. Homeless people would loiter outside my hotel and try to follow me inside. None of the stores or restaurants were open past 6 or 7. It was like Philly but worse.

Cafe Fifth. Although it has a bit of a musty smell. I spend most afternoons there now that I was forced to RTO.
Actually, I think BNY is ok if you drink at your desk. As long as you are in the office.
Downtown Pittsburgh is a complete dump full of aggressive homeless people. Also every business closes at 7 PM.
We should be asking, ‘where are the best tasting beers and greatest music?’
It used to be NOLA’s on Market square.
Alas, like BNY, good times do not last.
Not much left Dahn-tahn anymore....maybe Mitchell's on Ross St? I haven't been in there for 30 years so no clue what the prices are like these days, but at least it's close.
@a3 city works, not public my bad
Public house or Primantis in market square, see you there
Refreshing question amidst all the doom and gloom, don’t have an answer though..let’s all celebrate when we get to leave this place once and for all
