Negotiate highest salary for your job code and lock the bonus in writing. They promise 15% but they give 2% unless you have it in offer letter

I think only critical hiring will get you converted, that means MD will back you up a lot....which ....is hard...... I heard a friend been converted recently, he/she has been on the list for a year before eventually been converted....

Less than 1 month to complete the conversion.

Negotiate for the highest salary you can - you will not see any material increase after you join.

You hold the cards - your management spent a conversion on you and they don't get it back if salary negotiations fail.

Legally you can only be a contractor for maximum three years (at least in New York). Whoever is your manager make sure you have the discussion letting them know you would like to be converted over to a full time employee. Hopefully they will do what it takes to get you onboarded.
