SAFe at BNY

My started doing SAFe in Q3 last year and honestly, I don't see any improvements. On the contrary, it feels like there is an agile police around us: follow the process, follow the process! Where the focus should be having a solid cadence of delivering software.

So frustrated about SAFe, I came across a site called: The SAFe Delusion, and one example of adoption issues is this one:

ThoughtWorks is a global technology company that has pioneered Lean and Agile.

After observing, between 2015 and 2021, several clients that had adopted SAFe,
ThoughtWorks advised against adopting SAFe.

These are some of the things they observed from the clients that had adopted SAFe: SAFe created friction in the organizational structure and its operating model, promoted silos, hindered tech from creating business capabilities, generated waste in the value stream and discouraged creativity, limited autonomy and experimentation.

Make an HR request to get a copy of your personnel file. Once you’re terminated you can’t get access to it.
