Thread regarding Bank of New York Mellon Corp. layoffs

BNY’s strategy is simple

Cut costs, create a toxic environment to force people out, and offshore jobs until nothing’s left. If you’re still here, it's time to start looking. They don't want you working here. You're too expensive. Sad but true.

Doge has nothing to do with the Bank. Were you dropped on your head as a baby or something?

Ok, here we go again with the racism towards India and Poland.

People… they’re half the price of you and they are better educated.

Those are the simple facts.

Our toxic employees started this war but the Bank will win it. Hopefully the Bank will retaliate by giving honest references. I don’t believe that any of these RTO Refuseniks will ever be able to work an honest day for an honest day’s pay.

I give a lot of references and am honest. If you’re asking, and many are, you will get a truthful reference.

True, painfully obvious and unapologetic!. What a sad and unfair display of greed and rogue leadership. Karma is a fickle itch.

Yep this place has become a nightmare, all the jobs are being pushed to Offshore, It’s rare that I have any contact with US based employees now, it’s always offshore now. So much for collaborating with colleagues in the office. We all are in contact with offshore majority of the day now.

If we examine further, we find that clients ultimately are being handed lemons and told to squeeze their own lemonade as a result of this ‘strategy’. BNY’s board thinks clients are imbedded, ask for too much and cannot leave here. They have another thing coming.

Exactly!! The whole come in the office more to collab is just a way to upset people and force people out the door, The office is always quiet with no one talking or Collaborating and we spend majority of our day speaking with Offshore. It’s rare that I get a message from anyone based in the US now
