Department in Free-fall

Pittsburgh Transfer Agency office is in free-fall. This department is within Global Payments. All department leadership has resigned. All of them. Staff members are resigning every 2 to 4 weeks. Half of the remaining staff of twenty may jump before department implodes or reconfigured.

There were talks of SPS taking over BNY Transfer Agency, like they did with the BNY Lockbox business, but after SPS investigated this operation they declined to take it.

This department was moved from Westborough to Pittsburgh in 2022, an effort to reduce staff and save money. This move to Pittsburgh was a complete failure.

@f1
Yep. You look at her and think, her salary is the equivalent of 50 good FTEs that were wiped out just to bring her here. She is here simply because she was from ‘BLK’ and Robin simply has to keepmup appearances. She thinks AI can self program to replace some of the Accounting platforms here. Hahahahahahaha. She is another one who says stupid things, has no clue and is just collecting a big paycheck. Her picture alone says it all.

@ab the chief innovation officer is another HUGE disappointment. Worse off than her predecessors. Have heard from people who work in digital assets and data teams that things have quickly escalated to a sh-t show. No strategy, her newbie team is clueless and scouring to copy paste from old decks and many ppl in EC-1 have realized she has no handle on things. Not to mention the number of people who have been quitting every other week.

There are likely a high number of groups in free fall. As long as their third-party consultancies can farm overseas labor to the point of replacement of US roles, the facade will continue.

The end game is selling much of this org off. These are private equity blo*dletting tactics being used in a publicly traded firm, and the board cheers.

Everything in Global Payments is a disaster. The head of that department is an absolute CLOWN.

Ironically, this can be viewed as a large improvement. We would be better off with no leadership than sadistic leadership.

Never fear! ‘Eliza’, Prakash and Rajesh are here!
LOL. Good! Here’s hoping it crashes, burns and costs BNY untold millions in fines and penalties. Maybe the new chief innovation officer can blink like I dream of Jeannie and make it all better.
