A big beautiful layoffs is necessary at this bank

Yes, they should start cutting everyone who’s worked here their entire career. Professional political monsters.

@gm - personally, I've been campaigning for a lay off. Offered to take a package to save any one else's seat fuh-ever.

I think most of my fellow lurkers on this site are hoping (praying?) for a layoff, not worrying about it.

I'd get 18 months full pay + medical.

Where do I sign up??

Just keep in mind that “The Layoffs” that need to happen are good until… You are the one layer off!

Be careful for what you wish on others sass this may be the medicine that is force feed to you. Not a fancy quote but a true one.

Jus sayin!

Layoff would be nice right now...

Last week, I was told by my manager in a team meeting that errors cost the company money. The same company who will not give me a salary increase to commensurate with my 25+ years experience at BOA. After this fall with the last increase to the minimum BOA wage plan, my hourly wage with be a little over a dollar. Pathetic considering minimum wage increased since 2019 but did not adjust tenure employees salaries accordingly.

Now, I am expected to work overtime to justify new hire replacement for a recent retiree. This must be my salary increase with no federal income tax applied.

Low salary for tenure experience, overtime requirements, and recent threats of no errors on the job. Maybe OP has a point here....

The layoffs need to happen at a band 3 and up level. Us little worker ants are trying the best we can with the little sh-t we have.
