@ah It wont create a problem, full steam ahead. They are OK with a 1 to 125 FTE to contractor ratio. They've largely given up on attracting their own talent, and the stock rips.
The BNY job postings are akin to Venus flytraps hoping for unsuspecting flies. The real game is 3rd party resources, that is what HR does most of the time.
And if a problem does happen ... you guessed it, they'll hire more consultant contractors to fix it.
I'll give a lot of things a pass. Most big companies have their issues, but to say BNY has a strong culture is ridiculous. It's a culture of fear. It's all fake and for show. It's amongst the worst I've ever seen. I won't try and say it was unicorns and rainbows even when Gerald was here, but RV has created a problem. It may not be getting to the top yet, but at some point this is going to be a legitimate problem for the company. I want to jump ship asap.
