Notifications of employees impacted in next US separations round will commence on Aug 25 with termination on September 23.
There will be additional US separation cycle added this year. Names/roll due October 9. Notification date Nov 3 and last day worked Dec 2.

@w2 As an employee at will you can always be fired for cause without needing a PIP. The cause can be whatever they want it to be. The easy one is missing the return to office metric or if you are passing on the dashboard then it could be hours spent in office… But this is not the only tactic there are many more that predate the whole attendance tracker era we all live in currently.
The lower your grade level and if not yet over 40 where some worker protections kick in you are fair game for firing.

Why is there a gap between notification day and last day worked. I always thought US colleagues were let go as soon as they were notified?
@rm can they layoff without severance for performance if you have not recieved a PIP, curious on this process

The typical way. They'll sneak up behind you and tap you on the shoulder and walk you out. They'll spread it out over a couple days so you'll never really know when you're safe for a few months.
