Is it the same globally? Keylogger, mouse tracker, productivity monitoring?

Look for #Sapience.
all the time
Some of them may be services [windows key, then type services], although those will probably restart if you stop them, if you can.
also close/disable Greenshot application
If you do
Ctrl+Alt+Delete > Task Manager > Processes > Background Processes
You can read all about the different monitoring systems and programs they have watching and recording everything you do. I don’t blame them, since you can be dealing with highly sensitive information about major players in the nation and the world. Still, you have no privacy on bank-issued devices.
They can monitor me to he-l and back, it won’t change a thing. Did they compensate me more in 2022 and 2023 when I was pulling 60 hours a week at home? Nope. In fact reduced compensation. So. If there is something that needs to be done, I get it done. If there isn’t something that needs to be done…then pound sand, I’m going to do something else. No way I’m wasting my life jiggling a keyboard to keep busy.
They hope that Teams will function well enough to be able to retire Webex. Skype’s meeting functions are dogshit so they couldn’t retire Webex.

# Difference Between Skype and Teams Active Status
## Skype Active Status
Skype’s active status is fairly straightforward: it shows you as Available as long as the app is running, even if you’re not actually interacting with it.
- App in background still counts as active if it’s open or auto-started
- Receiving notifications or calls keeps your status at Active
- Simply shaking your mouse or tapping a key does reset the idle timer, so a quick movement will flip you back to Active
## Teams Active Status
Microsoft Teams uses a richer presence model that factors in app state, calendar, and device activity.
- Available
- When you’re actively using Teams on any logged-in device
- Away
- On desktop: after a few minutes of no keyboard or mouse activity, or when your computer is locked
- On mobile: whenever Teams is in the background (and Offline after 24 hours of inactivity)
- In a meeting / In a call / Presenting
- Triggers automatically when you join a Teams meeting or call
- Do Not Disturb
- Can be set manually or during screen sharing/presenting
- Out of Office
- Pulled from your Outlook automatic replies or calendar blocks
If you’re signed in on multiple devices, Teams takes the status from the device you used most recently.
## Key Differences
- Skype treats any running instance as Active—quick mouse shakes or key presses are enough to flip you back to Available.
- Teams distinguishes between idle, calls, meetings, calendar events, and background/mobile states, so your presence is more nuanced and reflective of your actual availability.
## Additional Considerations
- You can manually override your Teams status at any time (for example, forcing Do Not Disturb).
- If you’re concerned about privacy or battery life, review your app’s background permissions and auto-start settings.
- For hybrid work, consider setting focus time in your calendar—Teams will automatically respect it and show your status as Do Not Disturb.
okay someone explain to me the difference between Skype and teams for the active status is it like before just a quick shake of your mouse makes you active
@107 Also costs: Brian’s 2024 comp: $35M, Matthew’s: $17M, Alastair’s: $13M. The list goes on. Seems there might be an easier fix than all of this hand waving, nickel and diming non-executive employees in compensation and cutting resources that are considered baseline in order to do the jobs they were hired to do.
oh and if we all move to teams theoretically they can cut off Webex since it's duplicative, yet so is Symphony and so is Zoom... COSTS baby
@105 So COO team emails emphasizing senior management’s prioritization of ensuring “active” status on Teams and their efforts of getting employee access to Teams is just about Microsoft’s retirement of Skype? Why message that Brian is tracking usage and status data?
moving to Teams is because Microsoft is retiring Skype, so we have to get off Skype, and this is all quite public in the news
Why do you think Brian sending his COO teams to instruct employees to login to and actively use MS Teams? Being framed as a way to ensure employees using “given all of the efforts made to get BofA access to teams”. Meanwhile other banks are providing employee access to ChatGPT, yet BofA only just recently adopted Teams and somehow thinks it is worth a victory lap…) COO teams saying Brian monitoring usage, which many suspect translates to his minions using to keep track of who is at their desk when it comes time to justify the next round of layoffs
@dm It was in one of the recent training modules. They explicitly state the things they're (passively) monitoring. Pretty much everything you do is going to be logged.
There is no culture here. It’s just ki-l or be ki-led. Knifed by the person sitting next to you. It’s a terrible place to work. Hugh McColl would line up this leadership and mow them down if he could.
Make no mistake. The only employee who matters is the shareholder. And the leadership is now answering to them exclusively, evidenced by the massive amounts of share buybacks at the expense of employee compensation. That. Is. Fact. They’re doing to it to keep their own jobs too, to prevent a handful of powerful shareholders from making noise for a leadership change.
MS Teams
Everytime you rub one out at the workstation, it’s worth 10 extra activity points.

Thanks to indians hiring free lancers to get there jobs done.
Proof? Check out the many processes running on your BofA computer.
Anyone with actual proof?
Big brother is always watching.
Yes.. I noticed that outlook calendar running super slow? It’s because of all the add-on features that they’ve loaded up on our computers to monitor us… in turn making us less efficient, which is hilarious.
Yes. They put all sorts of software to monitor producivity. Where, how many keystrokes, what websites, first time on and when turned off at the end of the day. All thanks to folks in India and the Philippines as requested by upper management. Just work in your position as agŕeed and all gooď
