More 401k that I don’t want to go back to

I know there are previous posts about your 401k after leaving but I don’t feel like going back to it. i just hit my 3 year mark and plan on leaving for better opportunities come January after the match is locked in. I have about 30k in via and would like to roll it over to an IRA or some other account. Can someone give me suggestions, I’d appreciate it :)

I just rolled it over into a traditional IRA with voya. I have no issues with their platform and it was a very easy process. BNY had a 30 day waiting period so you won't be able to do anything until that passes.

Get your funds out of BNY Mellon immediately. Fidelity is a good option and you can open your accounts online. I am happy to report the customer service reps I spoke with were very helpful and here in the USA!!! Not offshore!! It was quick and easy moving my hard earned money and glad I did.

Correct. Pick a responsible wealth management firm. Create a traditional IRA account. Have your new IM company go after Voya and get it rolled over tax free. Do it seconds after you are gone.

Just go to Fidelity or Vanguard, open an IRA, and have them transfer it from Voya. I use Fidelity myself - their Customer Service has been good when I needed it.
