Badge swipes

How are they accurately measuring these? My coworker runs outside 6 times a day so does each time he badges in count towards his 12 day a month requirement? Does reporting show like 40 badge swipes?

@es Would smoking 10 cigarettes one day a month be enough to trigger addiction? You would have to pay a healthcare surcharge. Why not just take a brisk walk?

@ek it would be funny though. We just don't realize all we need to do is take 10 smoke breaks one day a month and we are good. I wonder which is better for your health? Coming in once per month and smoking 10 cigarettes or not smoking and coming in 3 days per week?

There is so much to say about you it’s obvious to everyone reading this pathetic post that you are a whinny hag who watches all their coworkers every move then runs off to tell on them in your innocent little way! Stay in your own lane. Back your telltale butt out of others business. People like you make being in the office miserable for everyone.

There is no dignity in obsessing about badge swipes, whether you're a leader or not. The whole conversation is infantile. We were so much better off before COVID. The only real option is to change your life so you're not driving into some failed downtown area to swipe a badge at a place that has you on a maintenance level of antidepressants, just for a paycheck. Move to a smaller town and get a job where you're actually helping real people.

Funny how crazy angry some get but those are the same people saying to not be bitter. Ummmm hello hypocrite. If this post triggers you and pushes you to call me names then ask yourself why. Says more about you then me. I was just using it as an example because im curious about the reporting and how consistent it is for us. Some of ya'll need some love.

They have to count weekends and holidays because there are employees who work weekends and holiday and they too are required to follow the same RTO expectation.

And I'm not going to go into why but if we're going to have to do this d-mb RTO thing then you want the reporting to be monthly. Trust me.

@a8 you can absolutely swipe on a weekend. I have done it various times when I am busy. That way I don't need to come in more than one day during the week and can get more done. I have always gotten 100% and never come in more than 11 days including weekends so I know I am getting credit for weekends.

You should spend less time counting the times your co worker goes out for a smoke

If you came in at 11:55 PM and the went for a walk and came back at 12:05 AM that would probably count as two days.

Current reporting just shows a compliance % per month per team member. If you swipe in on 11 days that month, your score is 100%. If you swipe in 10 days, your score is 90.9%. Swiping in 9 days gets you 81.8%, etc. There's also a year-to-date score that averages the months.

It's number of days in the month that is measured. If you swipe in 10 times in a day, that counts as one day. You have to swipe in at least once on at least 11 unique days in a calendar month.
