Looks like employees manager level and below will have to start logging their activities for a “time study.”

RTO failure punishments
Has anyone noticed that the new FAQs about time tracking don't state punishments for low compliance?
Mouse jiggler
Coworker in GCC was screen sharing and reading off a PowerPoint. You could see his mouse hovering all over the place which seemed like a mouse jiggler.
Don't we have apps/IT/management tracking keystrokes etc?
20 minutes short
Only working 2 days this week due to pto. I will be 20 minutes short of the in office expectations. I know days average out over time but if I worked more than 8 hours last week, will that cover me?
AP in charge of timing bathroom breaks ?!?
Just got called into a meeting about how long bathroom breaks “should” be, and what times we are “allowed” to take them.
AP has camera footage and tracks employees that are on the clock.
How is this legal!??
Capacity Tracking
Being asked to track capacity (basically a spreadsheet of hours on various tasks throughout the month)
Anyone else salaried but being asked to do this? Seems like they're checking for "redundancies"
Another Day Another Layoff in IT
In his first month of being interim CIDO, "Hot Mess" has already announced another restructuring for IT. What an innovative strategy that will absolutely not backfire. But don't forget to do your Time tracking (give me a break).
Attendance Crackdown
Are you all getting emails/talks too from your supervisor in regards to attendance/timekeeping policy?
Logged in by 5:30a this morning . . .
Will be done by 2p today and have 8.5 hours at work. I will be deducting that 1/2 hour from my Friday work day to reduce my average weekly hours to right around 40. Awesome way to start the weekend!
Cloud PC
Does logging into Cloud PC effect your time that is counted toward the 8 hour per day in office requirement? Have heard different things.
How exactly is time in office tracked?
Most of us are required to be in office at least 8 hours a day. How exactly is time in office tracked?
Time tracking?
Anyone in HR/IT/security know if they’re tracking time spent in office or if badging in is enough?
Clarity Tracking
Is anyone else being asked to track all of their hours in Clarity, not just projects?
Time Tracking?
Any departments get told they have to start tracking time? Heard it was GL24-29 only.
Timesheet issues?
Anyone else look at their timesheets today? The holiday hours are only listed at 7 hours each day instead of the standard 7.75 hours. Last week showed 7.75 both days. What's going on?
Unrecorded time
I worked from home for 3 days and those days are showing as Unrecorded time in my attendance.
Do you think any affect on me or my payslip due to this?
I left for 2.5 hour lunch, is that okay?
I clock in at around 8:30 AM, then around 2 PM, I left the office… I came back around 4:30, and I left at 5 PM. Do I get credit for 8.5 hours?
Badge swipes
How are they accurately measuring these? My coworker runs outside 6 times a day so does each time he badges in count towards his 12 day a month requirement? Does reporting show like 40 badge swipes?
Anybody else still coffee-badging?
I have been coffee badging ever since RTO started and I have never heard anything from my manager about time spent in the office. I am the sole person on my team at my location so I never see anyone I know when I go in. So I typically take a few calls at the office in the morning then head home to finish up.
Reading all the posts here about managers cracking down about number of hours in office makes me curious if I’m the only one who hasn’t had any related time tracking guidance yet? I don’t see myself changing up my in-office routine unless I hear something from my manager directly.

So we all going to be logging OT today. If we get let go tomorrow submit time cards. If not, change it and don’t risk it.
Hours reporting based on only first and last timestamps
Have it on pretty good authority from a colleague whose team develops the reporting that the hours in office data pull calc will be based upon your last timestamp on WF network minus first timestamp for the day because it would be too complex to subtract people swiping out for lunch, to attend company events, take meetings in adjoining buildings etc. so don’t worry too much if you need to step out for lunch or if you want to attend a company event that is outside the building etc.
Show up to work and work all of your hours completely. Employees are being tracked.
Do not commit time fraud. Don’t give any reason to be fired. Good luck
Another week, another incorrect presence report . . .
Fresh off my Care Giver time off helping my Grandmother, I came back somewhat refreshed with a positive attitude thinking AT&T might have their Sh!+ together. Unfortunately, that is not the case. It was an interesting report -- every day was low, and 2 days robbed me of more than 4 hours alone. Total understatement was around 7 hours. The only thing really worse than the presence report is our ability to secure the network.
