Thread regarding Bank of America layoffs

COVID update..

I woke up with a cough and sore throat.. the home test was negative, but I was suspicious. I called SOAAC and let them know- and stated that I am capable of WFH so not interested in using any sick time because again, I’m capable of WFH as we did for 2-3 years at the banks request. They said: “Since your test was negative you can go into the office”

  • so I spend the next 2 days in my cube… Took a test that 2nd night and bam! Positive! It’s insane that they’re more he’ll-bent on us being in the office vs concerned with the health of others.

So now, the random folks who sit near me will probably call out sick this coming week. Note: I don’t even know their full names to warn them because I don’t have anyone on my team at my site. What a joke.

We can all agree that @dqus+1kBAUTn4 is a nut case lunatic wearing a foil helmet as they binge on the jokers at Faux news. Unbelievable that there are actually people like this wacko.

I tested positive with Covid AND RSV. Wonder if they want people with RSV in the office, since you can be contagious for up to 14 days? They don’t care. I’m glad my management has common sense and told me to stay home.

Could it be a new COVID variant in North York, Toronto, Canada? It causes cough and diarrhea and is very similar to the one that is going on in City of Najing, China. Hopefully it is not the new type of variant that is combined with COVID and Cholera. Just never end....

What a disgusting policy.

They are fully aware that people are easily capable of working from home but they don’t want to get on that slippery slope again. They would rather others get Covid than allow WFH again.

BofA is a despicable company.

Next time you suspect you have it, just say you tested positive and go ahead and work from home. I wouldn’t even bother calling the hotline. I would just tell my manager (who wouldn’t care either way). Unless your manager isn’t as flexible.

Use sick time and catch up on favorite TV shows, you stop accruing more time once your balance hits 80hrs.

SOAAC won’t contact anyone unfortunately. They honestly haven’t done any of that “contract tracing” all along from my experience. It’s a joke. The company wants COVID to be ignored and pretend like it’s gone so we all get back to our desks to “connect” (while senior leaders making these decisions are in their private offices).

Naturally and organically back to dust. This is what happens in China recently, so many people died of sudden COVID-SARS’ lung infections that funeral homes are no longer able to cremate bodies anymore, seniors are given up in order to save $ on paying their retirement.

Call SOACC back and let them know. They are supposed to contact those people.

This is CEO BM way of reducing headcount naturally and organically. He wants all employees to come to work infect and possibly ki-l some from this virus. This company doesn't give a rats azz about us. I have said this before .
