Technology Executives to 3-4 levels down from the CIO are heavily ex-Lehman and people picked up along the way at Barclays, BoA. FOBs as they are called. And the new CEO wonders why the Total Cost of Operating Tech is so high (hint, do some basic analysis on this population, and their packages). They all get the key senior positions, promotions and best programs of work, leaving others to scrape and pe-k for a career. Will be interesting to see if the tech layoffs include a statistically normal population of these people or if, as expected, they mostly keep their highly paid jobs…..
