Red flags signaling you may be a target?

Given that I am excessively anxious and worried, I now interpret almost everything as a sign that I could be a target.

You meant of course that Robin’s videos and photos are in training courses, correct?

Training is already both singular and plural. “Trainings” is only horrible grammar.

Just a word to the wise as you struggle with your résumés.

  1. when your group changes reporting lines AND a new manager is brought in from the outside. Existing employees are more likely to be pushed out to make room for the new manager's lackey's from elsewhere. This happened to some people that moved to ASD last year.
  1. You are based in NYC or any other higher cost location.
  1. Performance reviews are significantly delayed and/or the narrative is heavily micromanaged ( I say this as a manger).
  1. There's a lot of work to do, but you're kept out of it and have more time on your hands. You try to spearhead other helpful initiatives but they fall on deaf ears (or blind eyes?).

These may not necessarily translate to a layoff, but they do signify the end of your growth within this company (at least within the department you're in). I know people who saw much of this criteria and got laid off. I experienced the same but I just got a better offer somewhere else.

Here are some signs that you are likely a target:

  1. If you have unique knowledge or perform a task that no one else on your team does, you suddenly are assigned a junior staff member to "learn the process";
  2. If you have a big scheduled presentation that is set after the rumored layoff date, your manager suddenly wants a detailed draft and the supporting data;
  3. Your 1-1's with your manager have been consistently cancelled or spotty over the past few months, but now you get an urgent request to meet.

Overall, sudden interest in what you do and how you do it by management is a likely indicator you're on the chopping block.

The first red flag is simply just being an employee here. There appears to be no rhyme or reason in their selections other than chop, chop, chop.

If you do not know someone in high places and kiss upto them big time you are done at this place esp in NYC.
Now we have to watch Robin vidoes on Loop. He is a self obsessed cult freak. His photos are in trainings and this never happened before.
