Thread regarding Bank of New York Mellon Corp. layoffs

Communications Code of Conduct

Email today should really clue you doubters in about layoffs next week. They wouldn’t send out anything about speaking to the media if it wasn’t on the horizon.

Be real. We get emails annually regarding clearing statements with the media.

No one leaves Goldman Sachs to go to BNY on their own volition. You were pushed out and that was the best you could do. No one leaves a top tier investment bank to go to a custodial bank.

Big cuts are coming and there will be another round later this year. Take a look around and notice the “top talent” leaving. Go while you can still get a job somewhere else. The executive committee and their directs have lost control. That’s what happens when you let bank robbers run the company. They come in, get all the money and create a mess, and then leave! Loyalty is no longer valued at BNYM.
