Useful reading for your job search

As a suggestion, you may want to start reading this book: "Headhunter Hiring Secrets 2.0: How to FIRE Up Your Career and Land Your IDEAL Job!" by Skip Freeman (Kindle Edition: $9.99).

The first version of this book opened my eyes 10 years ago about the hiring process, which should be seen as an elimination process (not a Ï-hope-they-like-me process), and it helps you create a strategy for that. This book goes over resumes, LinkedIn profiles, cover letter, how to succeed at interviews and how to negotiate an offer - really helped me.

Saw this on the first post. Glad that you made it a thread. It really seems that a lot of people are both sick of working here, terrified of being displaced and unable to formulate a job search.
