OK gang - for those whose last day as and active employee was Jan 27 - today, January 30th is the first day eligible for filing for unemployment.
Let's share experiences and what we are seeing and doing, in that it potentially affects sub-pay.
I filed in New York State as of about 8:30 this morning. Entering data in the website was relatively painless. Application submitted in good order, however, oddly I did not receive an e-mail notification back which is a bit of a surprise.
In any event.....the process is started...will be interesting to see what reporting requirements for job search are, and effect, if any, on sub pay.....
