I can't be mad at BNY Mellon for making such a bad decision, it's my own fault. I believed in many false promises over the years. My former colleagues who left this place made fantastic careers at their new companies. Do you too sometimes wonder how much more successful your career could have been if you had left here at the right time?

I can be mad at them.
I can't say the raises have been great, but I have learned a lot here. If they get rid of me, at least I have the skills to look for another position. If it wasn't for the interesting work and the great team of people I work with, I would have been gone by now.
I have actually worked somewhere worse than BNY. It was a toxic culture, and I didn't even realize how much it affected me until I left. If I ever felt like that here at BNY, I would start looking immediately.
I Worked in BNY for 7 years and my pay raised from 100K to 123K that too after reapplying with in the company for higher position . 4 years back i was let go and my current pay is 170K . there are better opportunities outside. take it positive
It’s not too late! I was here for 11 years before bailing. It was shocking how much I was underpaid once I accepted a job elsewhere but if you learned some things and made good connections, it’s not so bad. I thank my bad management for giving me the signs that I can do better elsewhere
