A union is the only way to fight the oligarchy that is putting as much downward pressure on workers as possible.

That would have meant we all get IMs because in a union it's about the lowest common denominator. Nobody thrives.

Probably. They'd just be laying people off based on seniority instead though. Last hired, first fired is the union way.
