Thread regarding DXC Technology layoffs

How’s the Met Police account going?

Heard from a colleague that it’s chaos already. Been going about 3 months and still in discovery phase with teams just thrown together jus to fill up org charts etc. Sounds like a typical DXC account. Time wasted on endless meetings and lots of waffle up front leading up to a mad scramble to deliver something resembling a MVP at the last minute. If the Met have a water-tight contract in place then it could end up being an expensive and rocky road for Del Boy and his cronies. SLA’s ahoy!

Ah reminds me of the good old days at Aon in 2005 when CSC (as it was) fired all internal IT staff to hire a bunch of kids who did not even know how to open a Dell computer shell. It was he-l then as it is now - nothing has changed. (Note: I spent purgatory time with First Consulting group at several NYC Hospitals and that was FAR worse than CSC ever was).

Don't worry it's all going to be AI and there won't be any employees needed at all.

Pukes is pressing the button to enable the AI on Monday and then it will all be fully automated.

We are planning to implement AI infused Platform X in the account and every thing will be auto configured, fine tuned and run books created

keep taking those purple pills ... you do know all 200 staff involved with PXC have gone? all went some time ago - well except for the leader who scrambled to some other rock to hide under
