Thread regarding PayPal layoffs

What's taking so long?

I'm hoping to get a big buyout, what's taking this new CEO so long to do something?

No layoffs are coming.
Low performers are given or will be given the opportunity to leave
If not coached out
No layoffs in 2026

It's only been a few weeks. I'd say he'll probably make some sort of announcement about what he has planned on the next earnings call on 5th May. Maybe a bit sooner. Still wouldn't get my hopes up for redundancy. If you really hate your job that much you might be better off looking for somewhere else. You might never get redundancy.

Take a active role in your destiny.
Start interviewing, get a job you like more, and quit.
