NCR Atleos Botched RiF

I am ex employee who was affected by last month's RiF. To date, my health insurance was terminated 4 days early and they have "ghosted" me when I am asking for updates on when I will receive my severance payments. Not surprising for this company of course. Anyone else have similar issues?

If you are riffed you will see the truest depth of the ineptitude and corruption you have ever seen. HR isn’t even present during the RIF which they force “managers” to perform, HR staff is offshore, and unable to even speak on the phone to any of your concerns. Consult an employment lawyer but that should have been done in a class action fashion some time ago. Atleos being acquired means that ship has likely sailed. The same is likely for Voyix if they don’t run out of cash first. Looks like they have one year operating cash left unless they start generating some free cash flow. Using stock buybacks to try and float the stock price is dubious if debt is being booked and cash is being depleted to do so.

I was Rifed too. Don’t sign before getting a lawyer. Play d-mb when you know they will get rid of you. Act crazy helps too. I was on the way out and they could have just talked to me but thought they were smarter. They had to pay and was fine with me. Good luck

After a RIF, don’t expect much from the company, you are dead to them, the severance packages are written in legalese and mine was 27 pages long, if you have anything you don’t understand or think they are cheating you, hire a employment lawyer, don’t let them pressure you into signing until you are ready, and trust me, they will say you have 14 days to sign or they will change the offer, they are not offering you anymore than the bare minimum of what the law says, lol
