@5f4 the 2 folks I know got 20 bucks and 36 bucks. Big whoop.
@5bn Not a GD penny. Had BCBS 17 years with another company, and when I checked my lawsuit code I had a pop up saying because it was under $5 they wouldn't be distributing anything! Meanwhile, I got $50 from Facebook from their lawsuit and multiple emails this week from them about a redistribution of remaining unclaimed funds. So we handled this payout about the same as everything else - half Azzes, and leaving people in the dark.
@5bn not that I have heard. Rumor is average payout is around $300.
Anyone gotten a payout from this lawsuit yet?
They are not saving billions or even multi millions by moving remote. The office space floors can be leased sure but these cities have so much vacant office spacd that lease rates are nothing. You also still have people coming in using your air conditioning and lights, so it is a sunk cost
Curious if any depts in headquarters were switched to wfh? I applied to a job in treasury and haven’t heard back but when I applied it said hybrid.
This would not be a decision made lightly. It's more likely that this a way for them to save money considering they lost a billion dollars last year and are likely to lose money again this year. It's an attempt to slow the losses.
